Afrikaans speaking, Professional Nurse , with 30 years experience in Community Health Nursing. Worked in diverse communities in the City of Cape Town. At the age of 55yrs, a desire to change in the field of nursing came. It followed after my husband passed away and my only child completed school.A opportunity to work as support staff member at Stellenbosch University came. I assisted in Pediatric Research (1yr), followed by TB Microbiology Research (2yrs). It was very stimulating and interesting. The past year I took a sabbatical to reflect and attend to other outstanding issues. I am now rested and ready to roll up my sleeves and assist where needed.
