192419-OXNYJ8-211.jpg COMPANY BACKGROUND Zonkizizwe Town Planning Consultancy, is an organization that was formed in 2014 as opportunities to empower & build the capacity for young professionals in the built environment sector were scarce and thus also formed a working partnership with Intern Planning. In 2018 the organization formally established itself after four years of mentor ship. ZTPC is an employee owned and managed company, with 100% staff component being youth. The organizational functions are channeled by Mr. Phumlani Gumede (Director and Registered Town Planner with SACPLAN) who has acquired extensive skills in Project Management, Geographic Information System, Development and Statutory Planning as well as Environmental Management. He has also served at the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, in the GIS directorate and also has worked at COMPUPLOT performing Land Audits, Amendment of Town Planning Schemes for some local and international municipalities.
