A consulting firm seeks qualified candidates to fill this role.

Responsibilities:

Development planning, sector studies and or public finance management in an emerging economy.
Analysis of national and sub-national economies
Familiarization with GDP estimation and assessment of growth drivers
Analysis of federal and state budgets, their relationships and cross impacts of public spending on national and sub-national GDP growth.
Design and evaluation of regional economic cooperation agreements among states and local governments.
Analysis of domestic trade flows and policies.
Make public presentations to varied audiences

Requirements:

BSc Economist with Masters in Development Economics.
Someone with a minimum of 2.1 with a mix of local and foreign university degrees.
He/She must have at least 2-3 years of post qualification experience.
The candidate must have specific experience in the following areas:
Development Planning, Analysis of national and sub-national economies Analysis of federal and state budgets etc
Strong reports writing skills
