Junior Data Analyst (Credit risk)

SALARY

300 000.00 – 600 000.00 per annum

SUMMARY

Our client based in Sandton, Gauteng is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join the credit team. The Analyst will be involved in various parts of the business, including creating campaign files, optimising and automating processes, building scorecards, and data mining.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Transforming raw transactional data into a final campaign file, which will be used for lending.
Data mining in SAS to increase the lending opportunity size.
Enhance and rebuild existing models used for application scoring and revenue forecasting.
Define the customer experience golden thread and ensure delivery through the sales team and Marketing division’s digital team.
Build performance monitoring reports for the various products offered by the company
Analysing new sets of data for potential lending opportunities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Qualification: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or BMI.
3-5 years of experience in a Credit Analyst or Data Analyst role

Skills & Experience:

Experience in SAS is compulsory.
Computer Languages: SAS (required); Advanced Excel (required)
