Project Manager (Principal) – Real Estate Directorate

SUMMARY

My client is looking to employ a Principal Project Manager, to spearhead initiatives with strategic insight and meticulous attention to detail. Your leadership will guide teams towards success, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage multiple complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
Oversee cost management, commercial affairs, quality control, resource allocation, scheduling, and technical aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
Compile and review contracts and agreements (JBCC, GCC, NEC, FIDIC).
Build and maintain external stakeholder relationships by networking, maintaining regular contact, ongoing communication and pitching ideas.
Project and Programme Management, Contract Administration,
Management of multi-disciplinary professional service providers.
Coordination and integration of activities internally and externally.
Sourcing of new work and ability to conclude contracts with clients.
Ability to provide technical advice to clients, especially regarding infrastructure projects.
Ensure adherence to pertinent legislation throughout the planning and execution phases of infrastructure and housing projects
Ability to budget and maximize sustainable revenue streams.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A minimum BSc, BEng or BTech qualification in the Built environment degree or other relevant professional qualification
Post-grad in Project Management, Business or Legal related studies an Advantage.
Professional registration as a Pr CPM (SACPCMP) –
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in complex building or infrastructure projects
Experience in working with both the public and private sector high-profile assignments.
