Snr Site Agent/Contracts Manager - Civil Concrete Structures
Description:
• The position is responsible for the delivery of a construction project in particular Civil Concrete Structures such as Mining Infrastructure, Bridges and in particular water retaining structures such as WWTW and Reservoirs ensuring profitable, on time and quality completion thereof.
Qualifications:
• BSc / B.Tech/ND Civil Engineering/Snr Site Agent/Contracts Manager - Civil Concrete Structures
Description:
• The position is responsible for the delivery of a construction project in particular Civil Concrete Structures such as Mining Infrastructure, Bridges and in particular water retaining structures such as WWTW and Reservoirs ensuring profitable, on time and quality completion thereof.
Qualifications:
• BSc / B.Tech/ND Civil Engineering/Construction Management.
• Must preferably have a professional registration such as SACPCMP or ECSA.
Experience:
• Minimum of 20 years’ experience in the heavy Civil Concrete construction Industry in a similar position.
• Extensive experience on concrete structures (i.e. reservoirs, Mining Infrastructures, Bridges, water treatment works and waste water treatment works contracts)
Special Requirements:
• Client liaison.
• Report writing.
• Problem solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Scheduling and Programming of work is a must
• Ability to manage quality of Construction on site
• Ability to deal with and manage Subcontractors
• Extensive Technical Knowledge of Civil and building construction
• Ability to manage cost on the site
• Experience in health and safety on sites.
• Payment Certificates.
• Ability to complete projects in time
Computer Competency Requirements:
• Computer literate in MS Office , CCS and/or MS Projects
Languages (Written & Spoken)
• Good command of the English language
