Key Responsibilities
Create and validate solutions aligned with reference, segment, and domain architectures.
Manage technology/engineering aspects of programs and value streams.
Explore new concepts, manage complexities, and ensure appropriate solution levels.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop reference architectures aligned with IT & Business strategy.
Ensure conformance of reference architectures to strategic roadmaps.
Conduct research and deliver reference architectures.
Contribute to architecture principles for downstream consumption.
Evaluate new technologies, products, and services for adoption.
Document and validate proof points or success criteria for assessments.
Provide input and evaluation criteria during RFI & RFP processes.
Essential Competencies
Navigate systems, enter data, and monitor processes.
Conduct routine program enhancements within specific IT applications.
Understand backup and security procedures.
Read and understand architecture specifications and models.
Create basic models based on specifications and recognize different architecture domains.
Identify new hardware, software, and communication technologies.
Assess relevance and potential value to the organization.
Promote awareness of emerging technologies among staff and management.
Minimum Requirements
8 – 10 Years’ experience in multiple IT disciplines e.g. Development Hardware, analysis, design, service management, architecture.
7 – 10 Years’ experience as an architect across domains.
Honours’ Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Commerce.
Relevant Architecture certification.
