SUMMARY

One of our reputable clients is seeking a Warehouse Manager with cold store experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure compliance with all Company procedures, including Health and Safety and Food Safety Policies
Consistently maintain warehouse quality standards following policy and procedures
Inbound and Outbound procedures, Picking procedures, Inventory procedures, Safety procedures, and Quality procedures
Experience in Cold Store Warehouse and other commodities export control protocols
Drawing up and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for the entire Warehouse export process
Ensure that Forklifts, Reach Trucks and Power Pallet trucks are managed and maintained
Ensure that equipment records are complete and accurate for all equipment
Ensure that machinery complies with safety requirements
Ensure adherence to all H&S Regulations and Requirements
Passing all audits
Ensure that In and outbound planning is done daily to ensure operational excellence
Multiple customers in DC, plan space, racking and layout capacity
Peak capacity planning
Staff scheduling to minimize overtime where applicable
Conduct stock verification or counts, on customer frequency requirements
Product shelf-life management reviews EXP/SSL report with the Inventory team
Ensuring correct locations of stock to ensure accurate information is given to customers
Managing operations to ensure stock integrity at all times

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Relevant tertiary qualification
5 Years of Working experience in the Cold Store Warehouse industry
